Being humble in real estate is not beating yourself up and thinking of yourself as low or small full of defects and shortcomings. Humility rather relates to minimizing the selfish ambitions and vain conceit which is so prevalent in the real estate industry.

If management learns humility in real estate we will reduce conflict and conflict is just another word for unhappiness – humility walks hand-in-hand with happiness (proven)
Being humble means not letting Pride be our Guide when we are working with team-members clients or third-party vendors. Pride truly is the root of all evil in a company and if left unchecked it will divide and destroy an organization. If it is all about My Success, My Needs, we are no longer a company – long removed from a team – but rather a group of self-serving narcissist driven by vain conceit or “I am always right.”
Humility is about building up others around us, giving more honor to them than we give to ourselves and this is difficult because it is the exact opposite of modern business as the real estate industry rewards narcissism (look at Me,I am the top-selling agent in Orange County). If we are not Humble as a company we will Stumble.
