Final Walk-Through and Inspection in Orange County
After the home inspection the buyer and the Orange County, CA buyer's agent will complete the final inspection of a home by the buyers before it's sold – and this is known as a walk-through. Buyers must complete a final walk-through of the home to verify that all requests for repair have been completed before the loan documents and other closing papers are signed and formalized. An Orange County walk-through occurs anywhere from a week to a couple of days prior to the close of escrow (COE) and it's very important for the sellers to have already vacated the home. If everything has not been fixed or replaced to the buyer’s standards, the seller needs to correct this deficiency prior to a successful close.
