N.A.R. in Orange County (OCAR):
The National Association of Realtors is an organization of over 1,300,000 REALTOR’s®, brokers, appraisers and other professionals focused on the residential and commercial real estate industries. It was created to promote the real estate profession and foster professional behavior in its members. The association has its own code of ethics that it requires its members to adhere to. A real estate agent can only be called a Realtor® if he or she belongs to the National Association of Realtors. Realtors agree to a code of ethics and to arbitrate their disputes among themselves rather than in court.
